Hatta Village

The area of the current Town Hall derived its name, Yagoshima, from being a small, isolated island between the North Midai River on one side and the South Midai River on the other. Remains of houses dating back to the Jomon Period have, been found in this area. Altitude is c. 327m above sea level. No public display is noted, but a polite enquiry at the town hall could lead to information of some sort: Town Hall: Yagoshima 2314-3, Hatta Village, Nakakoma-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture.
